Jon has spent the last decade helping his clients build and protect their intellectual property portfolios.  Jon has prosecuted applications on technologies including computer architecture, instruction set design, network infrastructure, digital storage, consumer devices, and computer software.  Jon’s district court experience spreads across these same technologies while he represented both plaintiffs and defendants.  Jon is well-versed in a broad range of IP counselling including: portfolio development, targeted prosecution, validity/invalidity analysis, prior art identification, claims charting, licensing support, and diligence during acquisitions. 

Before attending law school, Jon completed his degree in Computer Engineering and worked in industry as a Software Engineer.  Prior to joining Haley Guiliano, Jon served as an associate with a patent prosecution boutique in Silicon Valley and as a counsel with an AmLaw 100 firm where he dedicated his practice to litigating patent and technology matters.
